Christina Fiorani

Certified Animal Health Technician

I was born and raised in Montreal. My family has always been a dog family, and that is without a doubt where my unconditional love and passion for working with animals originated. I started volunteering at the local SPCA when I turned 18, working in the clinic department. This is where I gained my first experiences working in a veterinary clinic. I always knew I wanted to work with animals but this experience solidified the idea in my mind and introduced me into the world of animal health technicians. I went on to study at Vanier College in 2010 in the Animal Health Technology program, while still volunteering at the shelter and working part time in a veterinary clinic as an aid-technician. Once I graduated in 2013, I accepted a position as a technician in a 24 hour emergency center with specialized veterinarian department. This is where I met Dr. Ollivier, and I became a part of the ophthalmology department in March 2014. I obtained my AHT certification in December 2014. I always dreamed of working for a veterinary specialist and I am so fortunate to be a part of this small but strong team. In my spare time, I enjoy singing and being in the great outdoors. I am an active traveler, always trying to expand my horizons when I get some time off!
