Audrey-Anne Leblanc

Animal Health Technician

I am an Animal Health Technician since 2015. I am fond of animals and animal’s health since I was very little. I was following my dad, who is a veterinarian at his work as often as I could.   After my graduation, I decided to continue my studies in Microbiology and Immunology at Université de Montréal. I graduated in 2018 and am now a microbiologist, member of the Association of Microbiologists of Quebec (AMQ). I continue my academic studies in Forensic sciences at University of Toronto to become eventually a Forensic Biologist. I will be heading to my master in microbial forensics by summer 2020. Even if I continue to study, I will always be an Animal Health Technician, because I am very passionate about this profession. Eventually, I would like to be able to conciliate my two careers and continue to do this amazing job. When I had the possibility to work with Dr. Ollivier, I immediately seized this great opportunity to acquire new knowledge and meet new challenges.
