For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been passionate about science, animals and biodiversity. It goes without saying that I had to study in a related field to satisfy my thirst for knowledge. I graduated to be a veterinary technician from the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2014. Throughout my studies, I worked as a technician assistant in a veterinary hospital. At the end of my studies, I had the privilege to get an internship at the Raptors clinic (related to the UQROP) as well as an internship at the Granby Zoo where I was able to learn a lot not only about the different species, but also about the environment and the impact of our actions on their survival. I joined Dr. Ollivier’s team because ophthalmology is a fascinating medicine.
