I’ve always loved animals and eyes. Naturally, when choosing my university program, veterinary medicine came first, with optometry a close second. It was when I took my first ophthalmology courses at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine that I realized I could combine these two interests. I graduated in 2022 and continued my academic training with an internship in applied veterinary sciences (I.P.S.A.V.), which I completed in July 2023. I then worked in general practice in the Laval area and with the Ophtalmo Vétérinaire team, supervising anesthesia on surgery days. I have  now the chance to continue my academic career with Dr. Ollivier and Dre. Boutin’s team at Ophtalmo Vétérinaire with a specialized internship and then a residency in ophthalmology. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two cats, traveling, playing volleyball and discovering new recipes to cook with my family.
